Codec Pro is the newest incarnation of the Codec family, developed in 2017 by Francesco Canovaro, Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini and Andrea Tartarelli as a research on the subtleties and the variations on the theme of the geometric sans-serif design. The original typeface has been completely redesigned and expanded to feature a wide range of eleven weights, from the hairline thin to the bulky fat, while the character set has been extended to include not only latin, cyrillic and greek but also arabic, farsi and urdu scripts. A veritable swiss-knife for the designer, Codec Pro also includes a wide range of alternates and stylistic sets that cover all the subfamilies and the moods of the original type system. So while the standard set (Codec Cold) has terminals cut parallel or perpendicular to the baseline, emphasizing geometry for a more constructed look, stylistic set 4 (Codec Warm) uses open diagonal cuts and humanist shapes to give the typeface a gentler, warmer feeling. Set 3 (Codec Cold Logo) comes alive with funky ligatures, while Set 5 (Codec Warm Logo) stretches uppercase characters horizontally for a dynamic, unexpected effect

Quat is a sans serif type family designed by Ani Dimitrova. The family comes in 22 weights, ranging from Hairline to Black with extra drawn italics and small caps versions, and each style contains more than 700 glyphs. The Regular and Medium weights are perfect for body text while the extra drawn Italic gives an interesting texture to the text. The lightest weights work well in subtle headlines while the heaviest ones are perfect for posters, short texts, web, branding and screen design. All weights contain ligatures, proportional figures, tabular figures, old style figure, numerals and arrows, matching currency symbols and fraction. While fashions come and go, style is eternal. True to its name, Zeit is an ageless serif font family, distinct yet reassuringly familiar and trustworthy. From magazines to mobile apps, branding to advertising, Zeit covers everything with poise. The font family is equipped with many handy and carefully thought features. Small capitals and small capital figures, old style figures, subscript and superscript figures and fractions are intrinsic to the design. For a bit of flair, look for the swash alternates included in the italics – along with variants of the characters g and y. Merkén is a typeface inspired in the Slab Serif fonts designed by Vincent Figgins in the early 20th century: his famous designs; Antique and Egiziano, were the main references when developing this project. Meet Allrounder Grotesk, a decent and modest font and the first member of the multipurpose Allrounder superfamily. The multitalented typeface was developed from 2018 to 2020 by Moritz Kleinsorge. It lays the foundation for Kleinsorge’s Allrounder superfamily, a series of typefaces sharing the same color and horizontal metrics (cap height, small cap height and x-height). The aim of this series is to create a typesetting system whose components match each other perfectly. Look at Allrounder Grotesk as the first part of a design kit: every serif typeface that will follow may be easily combined with Allrounder Grotesk. A workhorse that lives up to its name, Allrounder Grotesk consists of ten weights ranging from a delicate Air to a powerful Black with 900+ glyphs per font. Each weight is accompanied by carefully hand-corrected italics. The sans serif typeface supports more than 200 Latin-based languages, containing the complete “LatinPlus” glyph set developed by underware. It also provides you with plenty of OpenType features and additional goodies: small capitals, ten sets of figures, case-sensitive forms, ligatures, superiors, fractions and arrows. Equipped like this, you’ll be ready for any kind of high-quality typesetting scenario you might encounter. Complementing Allrounder Grotesk, you will soon find Allrounder Serif, a Renaissance Antiqua whose design informed its Grotesk counterpart. While the construction principles of these two font families is completely independent of each other, they still harmonize due to sharing some key characteristics, such as metrics and color.
