Originally commissioned by Best Made Co., its functional beauty was made to mimic the idiosyncrasies of handwriting. Naturally randomised letterforms lend it authenticity, while weathered edges and subtle variations add a rustic charm. The effect is an honest, approachable, and organic look that’s careful, but that doesn’t overthink it. Goes well with packaging, branding, and product lookbooks alike. Tastes slightly smoky. Gets even better with age.

Ex Libris is a high contrasted Flared Serif font family in two weights. Ex Libris is a display type and it’s at its best in headlines, branding, packaging or as a logotype. Tamba Sans has strong geometric frames. Somewhat condensed and somewhat squarish letterforms can create a powerful atmosphere. This is why it is so important to be strong and powerful. One more important thing is the legibility, but the eye-catching design has a tendency to be unusual. Gaultier is the result of over 5 years of work on a typeface inspired by my favourite creators in European typography – Claude Garamond, Robert Granjon and Eric Gill. The main idea of the project was to create a sans-serif antiqua with all features reserved for serif typefaces. In addition to the rich set of characters, Neuropa includes: Small Caps, Superscript, Subscript, Ligatures, Discretionary Ligatures, Contextual Alternates, Swash Variants and 5 different styles of digits. Upright styles with delicate contrast corresponds with the expressive form of italics inspired by Granjon italic construction. Gaultier will work wherever we want to emphasize modernity without forgetting tradition. The sharp character of the whole family is perfect for longer texts, visual communications and branding purposes.

While fashions come and go, style is eternal. True to its name, Zeit is an ageless serif font family, distinct yet reassuringly familiar and trustworthy. Small capitals and small capital figures, old style figures, subscript and superscript figures and fractions are intrinsic to the design. Merkén is a typeface inspired in the Slab Serif fonts designed by Vincent Figgins in the early 20th century: his famous designs; Antique and Egiziano, were the main references when developing this project. The typeface is perfect for headlines, medium length texts, branding and advertising. His original set is strong and spicy but it also has an alternative set which is cursive and kind.

Meet Allrounder Grotesk, a decent and modest font and the first member of the multipurpose Allrounder superfamily. The multitalented typeface was developed from 2018 to 2020 by Moritz Kleinsorge. It lays the foundation for Kleinsorge’s Allrounder superfamily, a series of typefaces sharing the same color and horizontal metrics (cap height, small cap height and x-height). The aim of this series is to create a typesetting system whose components match each other perfectly. Look at Allrounder Grotesk as the first part of a design kit: every serif typeface that will follow may be easily combined with Allrounder Grotesk. A workhorse that lives up to its name, Allrounder Grotesk consists of ten weights ranging from a delicate Air to a powerful Black with 900+ glyphs per font. Each weight is accompanied by carefully hand-corrected italics. The sans serif typeface supports more than 200 Latin-based languages, containing the complete “LatinPlus” glyph set developed by underware. It also provides you with plenty of OpenType features and additional goodies: small capitals, ten sets of figures, case-sensitive forms, ligatures, superiors, fractions and arrows. Equipped like this, you’ll be ready for any kind of high-quality typesetting scenario you might encounter. Complementing Allrounder Grotesk, you will soon find Allrounder Serif, a Renaissance Antiqua whose design informed its Grotesk counterpart. While the construction principles of these two font families is completely independent of each other, they still harmonize due to sharing some key characteristics, such as metrics and color.
